Skål Toronto set to celebrate club merger with Feb. 25 event

TORONTO — Skål Toronto and Skål Toronto North are officially uniting after 20 years of operating as separate entities.

Susan Webb, President of Skål Toronto, says the merger marks a new era of collaboration and unity, reinforcing Skål International’s mission of promoting collaboration and professional networking among tourism leaders worldwide.

The consolidation was first announced in November 2024, and became official on Jan. 1, 2025.

Webb says the decision to unite the two clubs came after extensive discussions and a shared vision to create a stronger, more dynamic organization representing the diverse and evolving tourism sector in Toronto.

By consolidating resources and expertise, the newly unified Skål Toronto will offer enhanced networking opportunities, educational initiatives, and industry advocacy to its members, she adds.

“This is a historic moment for Skål Toronto. After 20 years, uniting our two clubs strengthens our presence in the industry and enhances opportunities for collaboration and growth,” says Webb.
