TORONTO — For the first time ever Ontario travel advisors have an opportunity to attend the Caravan roadshow, bringing agents together with reps from many global destinations.
The Sherbrooke-based tour operator behind Caravan, Sentiers du Monde, is launching in English-speaking Canada as Pathways of the World, with a big kick-off including two Caravan dates in Ontario next month.
Caravan will take place in both provinces from June 10 to 20, with events in nine cities.
Countries represented include Angola, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Bolivia, Cambodia, Chile, Croatia, Dubai, Ecuador, Guadeloupe, Japan, Jordan, Montenegro, Morocco, Oman, Peru, Portugal, Rwanda, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, the U.S., Uzbekistan and Vietnam.
“This exceptional event will travel across Quebec and, for the first time, reach Ontario,” says Pierre Couture, President of the tour operator. “During these meetings, our team will take the opportunity to launch the English brand of Sentiers du Monde, which will also operate B2B with advisors under the name Pathways of the World.”
A HIGHLY POPULAR FIRST EDITION
The first edition of Caravan took place in 2019 and was a resounding success, with full attendance in every city visited.
“These unique events bring together several local representatives from about 30 countries around the world, offering travel professionals a valuable opportunity to meet them in person,” says Couture. “We specialize in small group travel, private trips, and guaranteed departures worldwide, in the form of classic tours or the increasingly popular experiential or active trips.”
EXCLUSIVE MEETINGS
During Caravan, travel advisors can participate in round table meet-and-greets, making for an optimum networking environment.
“This will be an opportunity to discover and explore the specifics and wonders of these destinations offered by Sentiers du Monde | Pathways of the World,” explains Couture. “The exchanges will allow travel advisors to gain a broader understanding of the products and countries, enhancing their ability to advise and inspire their clients for future trips.”
Sentiers du Monde and Pathways of the World both work exclusively on a B2B basis, focusing their energies on Canadian travel agencies and travel advisors.
