ADDIS ABABA, Ethiopia — Ethiopian Airlines will be operating an all-women functioned flight tomorrow on its Addis Ababa – Bangkok route. This flight is the first of its kind in Ethiopian’s 70 years of service.
The flight will be led by women flight deck crew members and senior female executives onboard. On ground flight preparations will also be conducted by women including cabin operations, airport operations, flight dispatcher, load controller, ramp operations, on-board logistics, aviation safety and security, ticket offices, catering, air traffic controllers as well as the global call centre.
