VANCOUVER — The books have opened for Emerald Cruises’ 2022-2023 Mekong River cruises aboard its newest and most intimate Star-Ship, Emerald Harmony.
Sailing through Cambodia and Vietnam, the new itineraries range from 13-21 days and are designed to allow guests to make the most of their time abroad. Itineraries: the 13-day ‘Wonders of Vietnam, Cambodia & the Mekong’ that sails between Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap; the 17-day ‘Treasures & Temples of Vietnam & Cambodia’ featuring stops in Hanoi and Halong Bay in the north; and the 21-day ‘Grand Tour of Vietnam & Cambodia’ with stops at Hanoi, Halong Bay, Hoi An, Hue and Siem Reap.
On all itineraries, guests will pay a visit to Ho Chi Minh City, while in the Mekong Delta region, highlights include a visit to a family-owned Lanh My A silk producing factory and the unspoiled My An Hung village. Other highlights include a visit to Cambodia’s capital, Phnom Penh, a stop at a local monastery for a traditional Buddhist blessing, and a visit to Angkor Wat, the world’s largest temple.
The 84-guest Emerald Harmony features 42 staterooms and suites, a pool located on the ship’s aft, an Asian-themed Horizon Bar & Lounge and an impressive 2:1 guest-to-crew ratio. Unlike most similar-sized Mekong River ships, the Harmony will be built to allow access to the center of Ho Chi Minh City, meaning guests will disembark in the heart of the city rather than needing to be coached in.
Guests booking select 2022-2023 Mekong River cruises of 13 days or more will save up to $4,000 per couple. Those who book by Sept. 30, 2021 will receive a launch bonus of an additional $500 savings per couple. All bookings include complimentary Deposit Protection Plan valued at $250 per couple.
