MONTREAL — ACV has officially launched its 2020-2021 Sun Collection and brochure, with 700+ resorts to 42 sun destinations. 30+ new resorts, newly added LGBTQ+ friendly resorts and 30 semi-exclusive, and 3 exclusive to ACV resorts. For the first time ACV will also be offering RIU Plaza Hotels in cities around the world.

ACV also has more than 100 cruises, with the addition of Cunard Line to its collection.

New routes include a nonstop flight from Ottawa to Cayo Coco, offered Mondays starting Feb. 22, 2021. Clients can also book vacation packages to Cayo Coco with nonstop flights from Montreal to Cayo Coco operating on Fridays starting Sept. 4, 2020and from Toronto to Cayo Coco on Saturdays starting Sept. 26, 2020. Connectors are available from 54 Canadian cities.

And as a crucial selling tool for agents, ACV now offers a free COVID-19 Coverage and Assistance Plan administered by Allianz Global Assistance that applies to bookings made on or after Aug. 31, 2020 for travel Sept. 4, 2020 – April 30, 2021 to applicable destinations.

Here are more highlights from ACV’s 2020-2021 winter program …

• Clients who book their 2020/2021 winter vacation package to Mexico and the Caribbean by October 11, 2020 for travel between November 1, 2020 and April 30, 2021 can take advantage of savings and peace of mind with ACV’s Early Booking Bonus. Including ACV’s CareFree travel protection for free, families can also save up to $400 ($100 per adult, and $100 per child aged from 2 to 12).
• Agents can earn up to 30% commission with ACV’s CareFree and new CareFlexPlus plans. Priced at $59 each, the comprehensive travel protection plans include free seat selection, year-round Price Drop Guarantee, StormGuard, and a $50 waiver on administration change fees, allowing travellers to transfer their package, change their departure date, destination or hotel up to 7 days prior to departure, or cancel with a full refund up until 25 days prior to departure. Travellers can take advantage of the flexibility of both CareFree and CareFlexPlus for $99 per person (adults and children) for a limited time for new bookings made by October 11, 2020, for travel by April 30, 2021.
• For groups, ACV’s Flex program is priced at $49 per person and allows travellers one free date change or cancellation up to 7 days prior departure. The offer is applicable to new bookings of vacation packages to Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, South and Central America, Europe, and the U.S. and select departure dates. Plus, book a group of 10 passengers by October 31, 2020 and clients will save $1,500 on groups of 10 adults for departures between November 1, 2020 and April 30, 2021.
• With the ACV&ME loyalty program, agents who book hotels and groups will receive 500 points per room for packages of 7 nights or more; 500 points per room for packages of 3 to 6 nights; 500 points per 7 nights or more for Cruise & Flight packages; 300 points per room for ePackage bookings; 200 points on every 3 to 7 nights hotel-only or cruise-only bookings, and 300 points per passenger for Group bookings. ACV&ME loyalty points can be redeemed for Aeroplan Miles, travel vouchers or Visa and instant gift cards.
