TORONTO — Travel agents can earn 3X the STAR Agent Reward Points throughout the month of October when booking select resorts in Mazatlán with Sunwing.

As part of the new promotion, agents will earn the extra points, which convert to cash, on all new bookings to select resorts in the destination for travel between Nov. 1, 2019 and April 30, 2020.

Each time an agent makes a booking at a participating resort, they’ll also be entered into a weekly draw to win an all-inclusive vacation for two to Mazatlán, known as the ‘Pearl of the Pacific’. Prizes include a stay at Pueblo Bonito Emerald Bay Resort and Spa. The more bookings an agent makes, the more chances they have to win.

Moreover, agents can increase their earnings by adding select commissionable Sunwing Experiences to their bookings, which they can offer at a reduced rate of up to 20% off throughout October.

To help agents secure their bookings, Sunwing is offering a range of consumer incentives including rate reductions and resort credits at select properties. It’s also offering additional incentives on group bookings with 10 travellers or more. Until Oct. 16, 2019, agents can earn 4X the STAR Agent Reward Points for group bookings and their customers can save up to $400 per couple and receive a $100 excursion credit depending on selected travel dates.
