TORONTO — Silk Holidays and Europamundo Vacations have teamed up in a joint sales effort for Japan and Korea for the 2017/18 seasons, offering agents an extra 2% commission until July 31.

As part of the initiative, a new Japan and Korea brochure will be released, featuring 48 unique itineraries and over 1,425 departure dates year round. Clients will be able to book stopovers mid-trip, rotate trips at any point on the tour, and select specific sectors of tours to best suit their needs. All tours have guaranteed departures.

According to Silk Holidays, tours will also focus on sustainable travel, with opportunities to stop in small towns and villages. “With these itineraries, we want travellers to not just visit a destination but also live and enjoy the soul of Japan and Korea,” said Kenny Fan of Silk Holidays.

A five-day tour starts at $1,400 per person, including deluxe accommodations, guided sightseeing, admission tickets, most meals, and airport pick-up and drop-off service. Agents have until July 31 to receive an additional 2% commission.

Both companies are members of the JTB Group, with Silk Holidays based in Canada and Europamundo based in Southwestern Europe.
