Holland America celebrates 149th as more ships prepare to resume sailings

Earn 2% bonus commission on select 2021 voyages with Holland America

TORONTO — Though its global operations remain paused, Holland America Line is thanking travel agents for their support during this time with a bonus commission offer on future bookings.

With the offer, agents can earn an additional 2% commission on all new bookings for 2021 Europe, Alaska Cruise, Alaska Land+Sea Journeys and Canada/New England cruises made between now and Sept. 30, 2020.

The bonus is in addition to standard commission rates and is available for group affinity travel, agency bookings and in combination with promos, including Holland America’s ‘Save Now Cruise Later.’ The ‘Save Now Cruise Later’ promo offers up to US$2,300 in extras on cruises booked later this year and on 2021 and 2022 voyages. Extras include free drinks, free gratuities, free Signature Dining Packages, free Wi-Fi for suites and a 50% reduced deposit.

In an official statement, the cruise line says that cruise interest “is still very strong”, though adds that this is a challenging time for travel and selling cruises can take additional effort. “We want to reward and acknowledge that extra hard work and the strong relationships between our travel advisors and their clients.”

Holland America Line remains paused in its global operations and has cancelled all Alaska, Europe and Canada/New England cruises for 2020.
