NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA — AMR Collection is getting ready to open its latest resort, in Colombia.
The family-friendly Dreams Karibana Cartagena Beach & Golf Resort is scheduled to open its doors April 1. It’s the first resort in South America for AMR Collection.
Dreams Karibana Cartagena will have 268 rooms, all with a private terrace, balcony or swim-out suites.
The resort will also offer five bars and lounges, three gourmet, à la carte dining choices, pool and beach service, unlimited international and domestic top-shelf spirits, 24-hour room and concierge services, daily activities and entertainment, nightly events and more.
“We are very eager to introduce Dreams Karibana Cartagena Beach & Golf Resort, AMR Collection’s first property in South America, to deliver the Dreams Resorts & Spas brand experience in one of Colombia’s top destinations,” said Javier Coll, Group President of Global Business Development at Apple Leisure Group.
The resort also offers a private beach club and 18-hole golf course, designed by Nicklaus Design. Connecting rooms are available as an option for families, weddings or a social group’s getaway. There’s also more than 24,700 square feet of meeting and event space.
