TORONTO — In response to increased demand for home-grown vacations, The Travel Agent Next Door (TTAND) has announced the addition of two new suppliers offering Canadian product.

According to Flemming Friisdahl, founder of TTAND, agents can now sell tours, self-drive options and motorhome vacations through the newly added DMCi Inc. and CanaDream.

“We know that Canadians are discovering their own provinces and Canada more than ever during COVID and there is a lot of demand for domestic product,” he said. “The addition of these two new suppliers gives our network a wide range of domestic options to offer clients right now.”

DMCi Inc., in business since 2002, offers products and services across Canada that are fully commissionable. Products include mini-breaks, adventure package tours, self-drive holidays, excursions, escorted tours, luxury custom itineraries as well as private family tours.

CanaDream, which has been a leader in the RV business for over 25 years, offers RV rentals across Canada from seven major gateways. The Travel Agent Next Door recently honoured its top partner suppliers and agents at its virtual Gala Awards Night in July. The awards, which were based on votes from TTAND members, were handed out to a wide range of partners, including Transat, Goway, G Adventures, TravelBrands and more, all of which were lauded for their hard work during the global pandemic.
