TORONTO – Disney Cruise Line has reportedly increased the price of its Future Cruise Voucher (placeholder cruise) from US$50 to $250 per stateroom, a policy that went into effect on Dec. 5.
The voucher, which was officially introduced in March 2015 to eliminate dummy bookings, allows guests to book the onboard offer without booking a reservation for a specific sail date. The confirmation includes a confirmation number but does not display details such as ship name, sail date or category.
Travel must take place within 24 months of reservation to maintain booking benefits. Onboard credits, per stateroom, will vary based on sailing.
