ORLANDO — Like the dinosaurs that came before them, payphones have pretty much gone extinct. But if you’re ever feeling nostalgic, you can still find these near-defunct call boxes at Walt Disney World.
According to Insider, old-school payphones are located near the entrances of most of its theme parks, including Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot. At Epcot, they can also be found inside the park near the Mouse Gear gift shop, the Epcot World Traveler gift shop and the First Aid station.
Aside from giving you some major feels, the payphones not only work, they’re actually free to use! You can make local calls for free by dialing 0, plus you can use it to access general information about the park. Phone numbers for Walt Disney World Reservations and Ticketing Questions are also posted at each booth.
Free and convenient! They may not offer Wi-Fi or have any fancy apps, but sometimes the old way works just as well.
