TORONTO — What if finding your perfect D.R. beach paradise was as easy as choosing a paint chip?

The D.R. has no shortage of beaches, about 200 by one count thanks to the island’s 1,287 kilometres of coastline. Visitors here are spoiled for choice but, human nature being what it is, travellers in search of sun and sand typically head to long-time favourites Bavaro, Punta Cana and La Romana.

To show off the many off-the-beaten track beaches, an agency has worked with McCann Santo Domingo to launch an original catalogue: ‘Beach Colors RD’, a campaign that highlights all the beaches of the island using the colours of water and sand.
