TORONTO — Antje Splettstoesser is leaving the German National Tourist Office, with her last day scheduled for April 10.
Splettstoesser has served as Director, Canada since 2014 and was responsible for the overall strategy, budget, creation, execution and monitoring of all marketing campaigns for Germany in the Canadian market. She was also tasked with increasing brand awareness, product development and sales through B2B and B2C channels.
During her tenure, Germany has seen a significant increase in overnight arrivals, with an 8% uptick in 2017 and 13% additional overnights in January 2018.
