TORONTO — Visit Azores, Madeira Promotion Bureau, Visit Porto and North Portugal and SATA Azores Airlines welcomed the trade to their ‘Taste of Portugal’ event last night.

Taking place at the Consulate General of Portugal in Toronto, the get-together kicked off with a welcome reception with presentations followed by trade workshops – and, of course, prizes, including a grand prize featuring hotel accommodation, roundtrip airfare on SATA Azores Airlines, airport transfers, two excursions and breakfast daily.

Tourism partners flew in from many Portugal destinations to showcase hotel properties, DMCs and more. The group was headed to New York City after their stop in Toronto.

Travel professionals were invited to meet Madeira, Azores and Porto and North Portugal partners all at once with the event. SATA Azores Airlines is represented in Canada by Discover the World, which organized the gathering.
