TORONTO — African Travel, Inc. has launched its new 2024 brochure featuring 16 destinations, including its newest one, Morocco.
There are four new journeys in Morocco to choose from, including the 10-day ‘Discover Morocco’ and 12-day ‘Flavors of Morocco.’ Each journey includes a ‘MAKE TRAVEL MATTER’ Experience to the Marjana Argan Co-operative in the southwest region of the country, where guests will learn more about the life of the 80 local women who own the co-op and use traditional methods of making argan oil to support it. In Marrakech, both itineraries also include an interactive cooking class hosted by local chefs.
“We are thrilled to unveil our new 2024 brochure and we are excited to introduce the enchanting realm of Morocco as our newest destination with its ancient traditions and stunning landscapes,” says Sherwin Banda, President of African Travel, Inc. “We will also support our Moroccan ‘MAKE TRAVEL MATTER’ Experiences to help protect those traditions and cultural interactions in a meaningful way for our guests, local partners and the local communities we visit.”
Also new this year is the 10-day ‘Delta, Rivers and Falls’ safari through the heart of Botswana and Zambia. Guests will marvel over aerial views of the Okavango Delta, stay at the Atzaro Okavango sustainable luxury lodge, accessible via a scenic helicopter flight, and get the chance to spot leopards, cheetahs, lions, elephants, hippos, gazelles and buffalo with the camp’s knowledgeable guide. In Livingstone, guests will also get the chance to tour the Maunga clinic, visit a school and participate in a lunch program serving local kids.
In addition to these new itineraries, the tour operator will be offering 90 ‘MAKE TRAVEL MATTER’ Experiences across all of its itineraries as part of its ongoing sustainable efforts. Each experience has been carefully chosen for the positive social or environmental impact they have on the communities ATI visits, directly advancing the Sustainability Development Goals set by the United Nations.
