TORONTO — This winter, Delta Hotels and Resorts is offering its Travel Agent Express program to reward travel agents who sell Canadian destinations and products with deeply discounted rates.

Offered Dec. 15, 2013 to Feb. 28, 2014, the winter promotion helps agents familiarize themselves with Delta’s growing Canadian portfolio.

Whether relaxing in one of Delta’s new ModeRoom guest rooms or experiencing a resort destination, qualified travel agents will enjoy a special rate of $65 for the first room in popular destinations such as Montreal, Ottawa, Victoria, Vancouver and Halifax to name a few. The rate applies to double occupancy for a maximum of three consecutive nights. An additional room is available for $85.

Travel agents must book in advance by calling reservations at 1-800-268-3777, and quote rate code TCX and TC5. A valid IATA number is required at time of booking. Upon check-in, agents must present a valid travel industry photo ID card, along with a travel agency business card.

This offer is subject to availability. Rate is per night and does not include parking or incidentals. The Travel Agent Express rate is available at all Delta-branded hotels with the exception of Tantalus Lodge, Delta Banff, Sun Peaks Residences, Prince Edward, Regina and Royal Private Residences.

This rate is also not currently available at Delta Whistler Village Suites and Delta Sun Peaks Resorts, where the rate will be extended instead in the months of May and October 2014.
