THORNHILL, ON — Dan Tours has launched its new 2020 – 2021 ‘The World of Dan Tours’ brochure featuring trips to the Med, Middle East and Asia.

Featured destinations include Egypt, Greece, Jordan, Morocco, Dubai, Portugal, Turkey, China, India, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia. Carefully crafted and designed to meet every budget and preference with several departures, the tours work for all clients, from value-conscious to luxury-seekers.

PORTUGAL

Dan Tours’ new Portugal product includes itineraries to the mainland, as well as the islands of the Azores and Madeira.

One stand-out tour, appropriately called ‘The Wines & Shrines of Portugal’, is an 11 day/10 night itinerary that offers a unique way of tasting and experiencing Portugal, with tours of several wineries with wine tastings (including the magnificent Douro Valley and Porto, famous for Port wine) along with visits to the main churches and shrines of Portugal, including Fatima.

Another option, the ‘Portugal Highlights’ trip can be experienced as a private tour or can be taken as a self-drive itinerary, which includes a car rental for the nine-day duration of the trip.

Also featured in the Portugal section is an Azores tour of Sao Miguel & Terceira Islands, with everything from lagoons to volcanic sites. Travellers can experience a special Cozido das Caldeiras lunch at Vale das Furnas.

Meanwhile in Madeira, the beautiful island known as the ‘Pearl of the Atlantic’, clients will find second-to-none beaches and views for days. The tour includes two overnight stays in either Lisbon or Ponta Delgada, capital of the Azores island of Sao Miguel. The program is a seven-day tour and includes airport transfers.

CHINA

Two tours to choose from in China include the 14-day ‘The Mother River of China’ with visits to the China Capital cities and a Yangtze River cruise. There are 12 departures available in 2020 with a land only price of US$1,101, double occupancy. The second option is the 11-day ‘The Dynasty of the Dragon’ itinerary with visits to Beijing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Hangzhou, Shanghai and Xian, also with 12 departures to choose from and a land-only price from US$871, double. A Yangtze River cruise extension is priced at US$640, double.

THAILAND

As a new addition to the Dan Tours brochure Thailand can be experienced in 3 different ways: the 10-day ‘Ancient Kingdom of Siam’ to Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Damnem Saduak, Kanchanaburi, Ayuthaya, and Sukhothai; the ‘West Thai Island Hopper’, also a private tour with island stays on Koh Phi Phi and Krabi; and the 12-day ‘Thailand City Culture & Beach’ tour to Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Phuket, all the major temples and sites, and a full day tour to Phi Phi and Bamboo or Khai Island.
