Cunard reports its busiest booking day in a decade

VALENCIA, CA — How did the first day of bookings for Cunard’s newest ship go? It was the busiest booking day in a decade, says the luxury cruise line.

Queen Anne, Cunard’s fourth ship, will call at more than 32 ports in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Northern Europe during its maiden season. Its maiden voyage, a seven-night sailing from Southampton departing Jan. 4, 2024, has sold out, and demand for Princess & Queens Grill Suites proved especially strong across each of the 10 published new voyages, says Cunard’s Matt Gleaves, VP, Commercial, North America and Australasia.”

“Since we began to unveil details of our fourth ship, the reaction to Queen Anne from guests and travel advisors alike has been phenomenal. The first day of sales shows the incredible strength of demand for our new ship and the Cunard brand is at record levels,” says Gleaves.

According to Cunard, the three busiest booking periods in the last 10 years have now occurred since March 2021, with the launch of its U.K. sailings as the line returned to service, the launch of its summer 2023 program, and now the launch of Queen Anne’s maiden program.
