CAYO LAS BRUJAS — Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas in Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba has reopened its doors just in time for the holidays.
Its reopening comes on the heels of Cuba’s eased entry requirements, which went into effect on Nov. 15. All fully vaccinated air passengers are no longer required to take a pre-departure COVID-19 test prior to arrival, or a PCR test upon arrival in Cuba. Those who are not vaccinated must submit a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before arrival.
Situated on the white-sand shores of Cayo Santa Maria, Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas offers 660 Caribbean-style rooms and suites, either adults-only that come with a pool, or a family-friendly room ideal for those travelling with kids. The adjacent Aston Fiesta offers 67 all-inclusive rooms and an elevated infinity pool within the adults-only section.
Other amenities at Grand Aston Cayo Las Brujas include a ‘Pueblo’ where guests can enjoy a variety of bars and restaurants and even a bowling alley. There are 21 food and beverage outlets on site, including Panorama featuring an international buffet, La Finca for Cuban delicacies, Tex-Mex inspired Desperado, La Mer for French cuisine, as well as Ranchon, ideal for seafood lovers.
The resort is also home to eight swimming pools, an authentic Balinese spa, a modern Technogym-equipped fitness center, beauty salon, Jacuzzi, on-site water sports centre, four tennis courts and a children’s play area.
