Transcend Cruises unveils names of first two river ships

MIAMI — Transcend Cruises has revealed the names of its first two purpose-built river cruise ships, set to debut in 2026.

Designed exclusively for the B2B group travel market, the vessels will operate on a charter-only basis.

The first ship, Transcend Connect, is scheduled to enter service in April 2026, with Transcend Evolve to follow later in the second quarter.

According to the company, the names reflect the core values at the heart of its group-focused approach to river cruising.

“Every aspect of our product is intentionally crafted to serve the unique needs of B2B group travel,” said Matthew Shollar, Chief Visionary Officer, Transcend Cruises. “Transcend connect speaks to our mission of fostering meaningful connections – among guests, teams, and ideas – in immersive river settings. Transcend evolve reflects the transformative journey we aim to deliver for every guest onboard, as well as the evolution of group cruising itself. These names embody the outcomes our clients can expect – and they mark the beginning of a naming strategy rooted in purpose as we expand our fleet.”
