FORT LAUDERDALE — The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection has unveiled its summer 2025 itineraries, while at the same time opened bookings for the inaugural season of its third superyacht, Luminara, coming in 2025.

Luminara will join Evrima, which debuted in October 2022, and Ilma, coming this year, for the Collection’s summer 2025 lineup. Reservations for all three superyachts are now open.

LUMINARA, THE LOOK

Meaning ‘light’ in Latin, Luminara will be able to accommodate up to 452 guests upon its debut. In addition to 226 spacious suites, each boasting a private oceanview terrace, the superyacht will offer world-class dining, a wine vault, The Ritz-Carlton Spa, an expanded marina, and The Residential Suite, a new expansive accommodation among its upper-suite categories.

Luminara’s layout features circular silhouettes to create a seamless design and sense of limitless space in each area. Its serene colour palette f soft brown oak, Calcutta marble, leather accents and touches of red, navy and green provides an elegant oasis at sea. Interior finishes were envisioned by AD Associates in London, with creative direction provided by Chapi Chapo Design, a Toronto-based luxury design firm.

THE 2025 SUMMER SEASON

The summer season spanning from April to October 2025 will include a curated selection of 53 itineraries featuring new ports of call, standout shore excursions and an inaugural experience – nine exclusive voyages aboard Ilma in Northern Europe. Ilma will navigate the North Sea and Baltic Sea, offering journeys to dynamic cities like Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Reykjavik, alongside stops in Belfast, Bergen, Antwerp and more. Guests will also explore the Greek Isles, the Balearic Islands, the French Riviera and the Italian Riviera.

Ports of call to breathtaking cities include the historic maritime city of Toulon, Marbella and Kos. Wine enthusiasts will also love visiting Bordeaux, while history buffs can explore the historic castles of Edinburgh.

To complement each voyage, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection offers a collection of enriching onshore excursions. For example, in Palma de Mallorca, guests can book a private helicopter tour to Mallorca’s mountain region for a wine tasting, while in Livorno, Italy, they can sail the city’s canals on an exclusive boat before disembarking for a mixology class with a world-class bartender. 

HIGHLIGHTS OF 2025 SUMMER ITINERARIES ABOARD LUMINARA

• 7-NIGHT ROME ROUNDTRIP (July 31, 2025): Highlights include truffle hunting in Tuscany, climbing the Tower of Pisa, kayaking the Ligurian coast from Portofino, and a helicopter tour from Monte Carlo.
• 7-NIGHT ROME ROUND TRIP (Aug. 7, 2025): Highlights include a delicious meal at Michelin-starred De Mondion in Malta, exploring the vast ruins of Pompeii, and boating along the Amalfi Coast in search of blue grottoes.
• 7-NIGHT BARCELONA ROUNDTRIP (Aug. 21, 2025): Guests will enjoy two days exploring Rome’s top sites, including the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums, as well as kayaking the Ligurian coastline and exploring the countryside around Collioure that inspired artists like Matisse and Picasso.

HIGHLIGHTS OF 2025 SUMMER ITINERARIES ABOARD ILMA

• 9-NIGHT LISBON TO PORTSMOUTH (June 29, 2025): Ideal for wine connoisseurs, this itineraries includes a port tasting in Portugal, wine tasting in Rioja, Spain, and two days exploring vineyards in Bordeaux. Guests will also visit Bilbao’s Guggenheim Museum and the abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel, perched on a tidal island near Saint-Malo.
• 7-NIGHT COPENHAGEN TO STOCKHOLM (July 24, 2025): highlights include the 17th-century naval port of Karlskrona, the 18th-century fortress guarding Helsinki, and the medieval Old Town of Tallinn. Guests will explore five countries in total, with highlights that include souvenir shopping in Gdansk and sampling Swedish pancakes in Mariehamn.
• 7-NIGHT REYKJAVIK ROUND TRIP (Aug. 17, 2025): While circumnavigating Iceland, guests will explore the waterfalls and thermal baths around Akureyri, the glaciers near Grundarfjörður, and the remote villages where locals have made lives amidst the raw natural beauty, sailing as far north as the Arctic Circle along the way.

• 10-NIGHT LISBON TO BARCELONA (April 24, 2025): Guests will sail from Lisbon to Barcelona and enjoy such highlights as the Alcázar royal palace of Seville and Granada’s Alhambra castle before soaking up the sun in the Balearic Islands.
• 7-NIGHT VENICE ROUNDTRIP (June 5, 2025): Adriatic culture, cuisine and history come together on this journey that begins and ends in Venice. Guests will stroll the medieval streets of the Old Towns in Kotor and Zadar, sip Croatian wine in Dubrovnik and tour the 15th-century Venetian palace in Koper’s historic centre.
• 9-NIGHT ATHENS ROUNDTRIP (June 27, 2025): Guests will experience two of Turkey’s most celebrated cities with an overnight stay in Istanbul and a visit to Ephesus. Along the way, they’ll go Greek Island-hopping from Skiathos to Mykonos.
