Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas arrives in Port Canaveral

MIAMI — Royal Caribbean International’s Utopia of the Seas has arrived in Port Canaveral, Florida ahead of its official debut on July 19.

Dubbed as the ultimate short getaway, the ship arrived in port with over 2,000 crew members celebrating across the ship’s pool deck. A naming ceremony with Utopia’s godmother, Grammy-winning artist Meghan Trainor, is set to take place before the ship begins sailing three-night weekend and four-night weekday vacations.

On deck, passengers will find more than 40 ways to dine, drink and party and 20 types of accommodations. Highlights include a lineup of parties found only on Utopia, two casinos, a new Caribbean tiki bar called The Pesky Parrot, Royal Railway, a first of-its-kind train car dining experience called Utopia Station, several pools and more. Passengers will also visit Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s private island in The Bahamas.

Utopia of the Seas is Royal Caribbean’s first Oasis Class ship to offer short getaways. Guests can get away on Utopia any Friday or Monday, or go all out on any ship in Royal Caribbean’s lineup of 3- to 8-night vacations from Port Canaveral.
