Regent’s Amelie Dubois promoted to Director of Sales & Marketing, Canada

TORONTO — Regent Seven Seas Cruises has promoted Amelie Dubois to Director of Sales & Marketing, Canada, effective immediately.

Reporting directly to Jerod Evans, Senior Director, Field Sales & Strategic Partnerships, Dubois – who joined Regent in 2019 as Business Development Manager, Canada – will lead the sales and marketing strategy for the Canadian market while at the same time strengthen relationships with travel advisors.

Said Evans: “We’re thrilled to announce Amelie’s well-deserved promotion to the role of Director of Sales and Marketing for Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Amelie is a seasoned cruise professional with a wealth of experience and her passion for ultra-luxury travel is second to none. I’m excited to see how Amelie continues to build the Regent brand in Canada and help our valued travel partners earn more.”

Dubois, who says she’s excited to continue her cruising career with Regent, added: “I’ve been fostering strong relationships in the region since I began my career in cruising 15 years ago, and to step into the world of ultra-luxury cruising with Regent has been an incredible experience. Regent excels at answering the growing demand for smaller, more spacious ships and with an unrivalled all-inclusive offer, there is huge opportunity for growth.”

Dubois’ appointment follows the retirement of Beverley Vickers, former Director of Sales and Marketing, Canada, who spent 14 of her 28 years in cruising with Regent.

Evans added: “Following in the footsteps of Beverley is a big responsibility and she will be hugely missed within the industry. However, I am looking forward to seeing what Amelie achieves as she picks up the baton and becomes the go-to name for our valued travel advisors in Canada.”
