SEATTLE — Quark Expeditions has appointed David Marathakis as the company’s new Regional Sales Director, Americas.

Marathakis was most recently at hotel consolidator RateHawk, where he was the country manager in Canada.

Prior to that his career in the travel industry spanned roles in Europe and North America where he worked for companies including Contiki Holidays and The Travel Corporation.

Quark also appointed Randolph TenEyck as its new Area Sales Director, East.

New initiatives at Quark Expeditions aimed at enhancing the travel advisor experience include the new Quote & Hold tool and Marketing Center, both available at Quark’s Partner Portal.
