GENEVA — Explora Journeys has officially kicked off its Mediterranean Journeys Collection for 2025, with the EXPLORA II departing Barcelona last week to mark the start of the season.

Throughout the season, which runs until November 2025, Explora Journeys will offer immersive Mediterranean sailings aboard EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II. Guests are invited to embrace the brand’s signature “Ocean State of Mind” while discovering sun-drenched coastlines and vibrant culture across Italy, Greece, Türkiye, France and beyond.

Each itinerary blends iconic ports with hidden gems such as Skiathos (Greece), Portofino (Italy), St. Tropez (France) and Mahón (Spain), delivering a combination of cultural discovery and relaxed luxury.

Travellers embarking or disembarking EXPLORA II in Barcelona will experience seamless transitions at the newly inaugurated MSC Barcelona Cruise Terminal. The state-of-the-art terminal features expansive glass facades, maximizing natural light and enhancing the connection to the sea – a reflection of the elegance found on board Explora Journeys’ ships.

Eastern Mediterranean aboard EXPLORA I

• A Journey to Cypress-studded Hills and Cobalt Harbours (June 7–14, 2025): A seven-night voyage from Piraeus (Athens) to Fusina (Venice), exploring Greece and Croatia, including Corfu’s beaches and Rovinj’s old-world charm.
• An Extended Journey of Magical Greek Gifts and Turkish Treasures (June 21–July 5, 2025): A 14-night roundtrip sailing from Piraeus, visiting Mykonos and the dynamic city of Istanbul.

Western Mediterranean aboard EXPLORA II

• A Journey of Golden Ibiza Days and Warm Riviera Nights (June 2–9, 2025):  A seven-night cruise from Barcelona to Civitavecchia (Rome), featuring stops in Ibiza and Portofino.
• A Journey of Picturesque Piazzas and Soulful Souks (June 9–16, 2025): A seven-night sailing from Civitavecchia to Barcelona, visiting historic Trapani (Sicily) and La Goulette (Tunis).
