Emerald Cruises has new Caribbean sailings for winter 2024/2025

VANCOUVER — Emerald Cruises has unveiled new Caribbean itineraries for winter 2024/2025 aboard the Emerald Azzurra.

Sailing from Dec. 7, 2024 until Feb. 22, 2025, the new itineraries come in response to strong demand for Caribbean sailings aboard sister yacht Emerald Sakara, which have nearly reached full capacity for the upcoming season. Emerald has adjusted its 2024/2025 Safari and Seychelles operations to increase its Caribbean presence and prioritize guest safety amid evolving regional dynamics.

To celebrate the launch of these new sailings, guests can save up to US$4,000 per person on new Caribbean cruises on select 2024/2025 dates.

“Our decision to increase our Caribbean presence reflects the strong guest interest in this region and aligns with changes in the Red Sea conditions,” said Lisa McCaskill, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Scenic Group Canada. “This adjustment not only enhances our offerings in highly sought-after destinations, but ensures guests’ safety and satisfaction. Emerald Azzurra’s new schedule has been meticulously crafted to access unique ports that larger vessels simply cannot reach, providing exclusive and intimate exploration for all onboard.”

The new Caribbean itineraries include less-travelled Caribbean destinations including Jost van Dyke and Norman Island in the British Virgin Islands, Montserrat and Antigua. Also notable are overnight stays in St. Barths and visits to Guadeloupe and Barbuda in the Leeward Islands. In addition, travellers looking for longer cruises can combine them with minimal overlapping of ports, including the eight-day ‘Caribbean Yachting Hideaways’ and the eight-day ‘Caribbean Yachting Discovery.’ There is a special New Year’s sailing departing Dec. 28 that will include a New Year’s Eve party and New Year’s Day brunch while anchored off St. Barths.
