TORONTO — Viking has announced changes to its trade sales organization.

After 25 years, Michele Saegesser has transitioned her role to new Viking leadership.

Erik De La Cruz has been promoted to lead Viking’s Field Sales Team and Mike Eng will lead Viking’s National Accounts Partnerships.

De La Cruz will manage Viking’s North American Field Sales Team (U.S. & Canada), Inside Sales Team and the Groups Department. De La Cruz brings over two decades of experience in the travel industry, with 15 of those years dedicated to Viking in various roles including Sr. Director, Sales Support and Sr. Director, Sales & National Accounts.

Eng will lead Viking’s national account partnerships, trade marketing, technology and reporting. Eng has been with Viking for 14 years. In his new role, he will be committed to national account partnership success and ensuring Viking remains top of mind with trade partners.
