TORONTO — Avalon Waterways is embarking on a two-year, fleet-wide refresh that will reimagine its signature Suite Ship experience.
Over the next two years, the river cruise line will be updating its ‘Better By Design’ experience on board every one of its Suite Ships in Europe (except Avalon Alegria, Avalon View and Avalon Envision, which were already built in the enhance style) with top-to-bottom enhances that include fresh new interiors, upgraded outdoor spaces and next-level Wi-Fi.
The fleet-wide refresh will launch in the following phases:
- 2024: Avalon Passion, Avalon Imagery II, Avalon Poetry II, Avalon Panorama, Avalon Vista
- 2025: Avalon Artistry II, Avalon Impression, Avalon Illumination, Avalon Tapestry II, Avalon Tranquility II
- 2026: Avalon Expression, Avalon Visionary
Enhancements will include the following:
- Fresh décor in every public space, from flooring to furniture
- A second Starlink antenna for high-speed Internet
- A chic new look and furniture for the Sky Deck
- An enhanced Observation Lounge
- Upgraded fitness rooms featuring Kinesis weight machines along with an expanded selection of free weights
- Each ship now boasts 15 new bikes and four new e-bikes
