Croatia launches new certification program for travel advisors

NEW YORK — The Croatian National Tourist Board has launched the Croatia Full of Life Certificate, a new initiative designed to strengthen travel advisors’ expertise and help them craft more personalised experiences for clients.

“We are thrilled to introduce this certification as a way to support travel advisors in promoting Croatia as a year-round destination,” said Leila Krešić-Jurić, director of the Croatian National Tourist Board in North America. “By deepening their knowledge, advisors can inspire travelers with authentic, customized itineraries that showcase Croatia’s unique charm beyond its well-known highlights.”

The certification program includes a series of five themed webinars covering Croatia’s major attractions, emerging destinations, luxury stays, sustainable tourism efforts and off-the-beaten-path experiences. Following the webinars, participants will complete an online quiz to earn the official Croatia Full of Life Specialist certificate.

Upcoming webinar themes include:

  • Introduction to the “Croatia Full of Life Specialist” Certificate
  • Zagreb & Central Croatia ~ Discovering Culture & Arts
  • Istria & Kvarner ~ Food & Wine travel ~ Golf Traveler
  • Zadar & Lika ~ Enjoy Outdoors & Nature ~ Multi-Generational Travel
  • Central Dalmatia & Dubrovnik ~ Island Hopping & Sailing ~ Weddings, including the luxurious island of Hvar, recently featured across PBS travel series highlighting its stunning landscapes and rich heritage
  • Slavonia ~ Rural Tourism ~ Health & Medical Travel

Expanded Summer Connectivity

Croatia’s accessibility is also receiving a major boost for summer 2025, with a flight schedule offering direct connections to 122 cities across 42 countries. A total of 57 international airlines will operate flights to and from Croatia, with airports in Zagreb, Split, and Dubrovnik expecting the highest volumes of traffic.

The expanded network supports efforts to position Croatia as a year-round destination, making it easier for travellers from North America and beyond to access both coastal favourites and emerging inland regions. The increased connectivity is expected to appeal to a wide range of travel markets, including leisure, luxury, adventure and cultural tourism.
