GENOA — Costa Cruises has once again extended its pause in cruise operations, from July 31 to Aug. 15, and has also cancelled all cruises in northern Europe for the remainder of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In addition, the cruise line is cancelling all future cruises of the Costa Victoria.
The cruise line cited uncertainties surrounding the reopening of ports as well as ongoing travel restrictions as the main factors behind this latest delay and cancellations.
It is taking steps to inform both travel agents and guests affected by these changes and is guaranteeing a reprotection in accordance with the applicable legislation, “which offers the highest guarantee in this contingency situation,” says Costa.
