MIAMI — Costa Cruises is turning 70 next year, and to celebrate it’s launching a year-long theme called ‘Felicità al Quadrato’ (Happiness Squared) that includes a special anniversary promotion on select sailings.
Launching today, Aug. 14, the promotion offers savings on sailings that depart on or after April 1, 2018. Guests who book a 2018 Costa cruise will receive up to US$500 in discount vouchers per cabin that can be used toward a selection of onboard experiences.
To qualify, eligible 2018 cruises must be booked by Oct. 23, 2017.
“We wanted to kick off our anniversary celebrations with an offer to show our guests our appreciation for their loyalty, which has made Costa Cruises the success it is today,” said Scott Knutson, vice president of sales and marketing for Costa Cruises North America. “As the only cruise company flying the Italian flag and a pioneer in the cruise industry, 2018 is a milestone for Costa that demonstrates we have exceeded the expectations of our guests for seven decades.”
The discount vouchers apply to a variety of services and amenities, including select CostaTours!, dinner at the Samsara Restaurant, a wine package, 75-minute Thai or bamboo massage, a 3GB Wi-Fi package and a photo package. On ships without a Samsara Restaurant, four $7.50 vouchers will be offered per cabin to be used for meals at the Pizzeria Pummid’oro or Burgeraria hamburger bar.
Eligible CostaTours! are labelled with the ’70 anni felicitas2’ logo in the itinerary of each cruise.
The 70th anniversary promo is offered in nearly all markets where Costa operates and is available for 2018 itineraries that begin on April 1, 2018 on Costa Deliziosa, Costa Diadema, Costa Fascinosa, Costa Favolosa, Costa Mediterranea, Costa neoClassica, Costa neoRiviera, Costa Pacifica and Costa Victoria. Sailings on Costa Luminosa and Costa Magica that begin on April 28, 2018 and beyond will be eligible for the promotion.
The offer includes the World Cruise on Costa Luminosa and journeys on Costa neoRomantica. This offer can be used in conjunction with all ongoing promotions for services or product add-ons where allowed, but cannot be used in combination with promotions on onboard services/products.
In addition to this special booking incentive, throughout 2018 Costa will have a series of onboard and shoreside initiatives surrounding the 70th anniversary that will inspire guests and travel agents to celebrate with the cruise line.
