MISSISSAUGA — After being charged by TICO in September 2019, Moose Travel Company Ltd. has been convicted of selling travel services without registration.

On July 23, 2021, the company plead guilty to selling travel services without registration between July 2018 and May 2019 in contravention of the Travel Industry Act, 2002. A fine of $5,500 plus a Victim Fine Surcharge were imposed.

It was reported in September 2019 that Moose Travel Company allegedly ceased operations and consumers did not receive their tours. Some customers were only partially refunded.
