Contiki’s new campaign includes 8 weeks of client savings, agent prizes

TORONTO — Keeping in line with its ‘No Regrets’ philosophy, Contiki has launched a new campaign based on one simple question: “What will you do in 2017 that you’ll remember forever?”

Running from Feb. 1 to March 31, the 2017 EB2 campaign is meant to encourage Millennials to make long-lasting memories this year rather than putting it off for another time, something that young procrastinators are prone to do.

Throughout the campaign’s run, savings and incentives will be launched to help inspire agents and their clients to book their dream vacations with the brand’s 2017 program, now.

Within the eight-week blitz, two consecutive weeks will be dedicated to a specific destination, which has been sponsored by its respective tourism board, featuring a booking discount related to the region. While each destination’s offer will only be promoted for the two-week period, agents and their clients will still be able to redeem the offer up until March 31.

A grand prize will also be on offer. Clients can enter to win a trip for two, including airfare, to Europe with Contiki by visiting www.contiki.com/remember-forever-competition.

As for agents, Contiki is offering two chances to win prizes during the campaign. From Feb. 1 to March 31, for every Contiki passenger booked in one of the trips that include the featured destination (bookings must be on a Contiki trip that is seven days or longer), the booking agent will receive a $25 Amazon gift card.

When agents sell five Contiki trips that are seven days or longer, they’ll be entered to win ‘The Ultimate Contiki Experience’ in partnership with WestJet that includes a trip for two to Europe with airfare from WestJet, a Contiki travel pack and $500 in spending money.

Four tourism boards have partnered with Contiki’s new campaign, and each will be featured for a two-week period:

  • Feb. 1-14: Spain (promo code PPCMEMORIESSP), savings up to $765 + 150 off all Contiki tours through Spain
  • Feb. 15-28: Thailand (promo code PPCMEMORIESTH), savings up to $348 + $150 off all Contiki tours through Thailand
  • March 1-14: France (promo code PPCMEMORIESFR), savings up to $560 + $150 off all Contiki tours through France
  • March 15-31: Ireland (promo code PPCMEMORIESIR), savings up to $314 + $150 off all Contiki tours through Ireland

A select list of trips has been selected to be part of the campaign, including ‘Spanish Spree’, which travels from San Sebastian to Seville, the new eight-day ‘Northern Thai Highlights’, which includes a long tail boat cruise and a guided bike tour of Ayutthaya, ‘Munch’, a gastronomic journey through Nice, Aix-en-Provence, Barcelona, Milan, Florence and Bologna, and the eight-day ‘Ireland’ tour, that highlights Galway and Giant’s Causeway.
