TORONTO – There’s a new head honcho taking over the reins at Contiki Holidays Canada, someone who shares the company’s passion for digital marketing.
Deanna Lambert has been appointed President of Contiki Holidays Canada, effective May 16, after serving as Director of Brand & Digital Strategy at TRAFFIKGroup, a Toronto-based marketing agency. According to an official statement by Contiki, her expertise in digital marketing and brand strategy, plus her previous experience working with such high profile clients as Canadian Tire and Loblaw Corp, “make her an ideal fit to lead Contiki’s Canadian team.”
“Contiki Canada continues to innovate in the millennial market and we are thrilled to welcome Deanna in her new role with her extensive marketing and digital background,” said Jeff Element, President of Contiki Holidays Canada’s parent company, the Travel Corporation Canada. “In the coming weeks, I will be personally introducing Deanna to our valued agent partners.”
Lambert added, “I’ve always been passionate about the benefits of travel, and as my former clients and teammates know, I’m also very passionate about what the benefits of a customer-centric marketing approach can bring to brands and businesses. I am very excited to be able to unite those two passions, and I couldn’t be happier to have joined the fantastic and welcoming team at Contiki and The Travel Corporation Canada.”
Brad Ford, Contiki Holidays Canada’s previous president, will join Lion World Travel as President in November.
