CommutAir adds Montreal flights, with Quebec City and Ottawa coming soon

NORTH OLMSTED — United Express carrier CommutAir has expanded its route map into Canada.

Now underway, CommutAir is operating five daily roundtrips from New York/Newark (EWR) and Washington D.C. to Montreal.

Montreal is CommutAir’s first international destination since the airline transitioned to an all-jet fleet.

Over the next few months, Commutair aims to increase its Canadian footprint by adding Quebec City and Ottawa. CommutAir currently serves 35+ U.S destinations using the Embraer ERJ145.

“We’re thrilled to add international service into Canada and look forward to watching our route map continue its rapid expansion as monthly aircraft deliveries fuel our growth,” says Joel Raymond, Chief Operating Officer.

Through 2019 CommutAir plans to triple in size to an all-jet fleet of 61 Embraer aircraft and is actively hiring 400 pilots over the next two years.
