NEW YORK — Italo Treno, Italy’s high-speed rail company, is partnering with Anjuna in Africa, Australia, Canada, Latin America, New Zealand and the U.S. in a bid to make inroads with the trade and travel agent communities around the world.
The new partnership leverages Anjuna’s global network, to boost sales between Italo’s 25 city connections, say the companies.
The agreement is effective immediately and agents can earn up to 3% commission on eligible rail itineraries when registering through sellitalo.com.
“Sign up is simple, information is secure, and agents can begin taking advantage of Italo’s extensive Italian network quickly,” says Anjuna.
Italo Treno operates four high-speed train routes and 30 train stations connecting 25 cities including Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence, Naples, Turin, Salerno, Padua, Verona, Desenzano, Peschiera and Vicenza.
The Italo fleet consists of 45 trains (25 AGVs and 20 ETR 675s ‘EVO’ engines). Both fleet models are next- gen with train speeds reaching up to 360 km/h.
Anjuna is based in Singapore and provides marketing and sales solutions to airlines, rail companies, tourism boards, airports, and travel brands in five continents. Anjuna has presence in more than a dozen cities worldwide including Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal.
