Club Med promotes Brouhard and Giraud

MONTREAL — Club Med has announced new advancements among its senior team in North America.

Amélie Brouhard, formerly Vice President, Managing Director of Club Med Canada, is now Vice President Sales USA and Omnichannel Marketing for Club Med North America. After working in sales and marketing in both France and Canada for over 10 years, Brouhard will join the brand’s head office in Miami to lead the North American division’s commercial and marketing strategies.

In her former role, she is credited for playing an integral role in developing key business insights across the Canadian market and laying the groundwork for the upcoming launch of Club Med Québec Charlevoix, Club Med’s inaugural Canadian resort.

Meanwhile, Vincent Giraud will take over Brouhard’s former role as Vice President of Club Med Canada in addition to his North America Sales Operations role. He will lead the implementation of Club Med’s worldwide digital tools to increase sales, contact centre conversion rates and customer satisfaction and engagement, and will also co-create with other North American teams to establish training programs to ensure global sales alignment.

Carolyne Doyon, President and CEO of Club Med North America and the Caribbean, says the team’s transition comes at a pivotal time for Club Med.

“As a brand, we have rapid expansion plans with 16 new resort openings, plus 10 renovations and extensions of existing resorts between now and 2023, and Vincent and Amélie will have key roles in the evolution of our portfolio,” said Doyon.

According to Brouhard, Club Med has seen a “reinvigoration for revenge bookings” in North America over the last few months, which is trending to more than a 30% increase versus 2019.

“We are well-equipped to accommodate pent-up demand and I’m confident that Vincent and his team will continue to position our travel partners at the centre of our strategies and work hand-in-hand with them to meet the ambitious goals we’ve set for the Canadian market,” said Brouhard.

Giraud, who says the team is looking forward to welcoming Canadians back to Club Med resorts in the coming months, added: “I’m thrilled to come into this new role and take on the challenge of finding synergies and efficiencies to generate customer satisfaction and drive sales. As always, we appreciate our business partners for their unwavering support over this difficult time. I look forward to continuing the journey with them, our partners and guests.”
