TORONTO — Celestyal Cruises has announced the appointment of Yeymi Santana to the position of District Sales Manager, Quebec, Ottawa and the Maritimes. Santana will focus on promoting and selling the company’s to the Greek Islands and Cuba, and join Haley Chiappino, District Sales Manager, Eastern Ontario in servicing the Canadian travel agent and tour operator community. The sales team will be under the leadership of Christine Chiang, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Canada.

“Although Yeymi is not new to the Celestyal Cruises family, having held a position in the call center for the last year, we are pleased to promote from within and welcome Yeymi to the sales team,” said Chiang. “We’re experiencing an exponential year of growth with the launch of year-round cruises to Cuba, and in the Aegean, new all-inclusive itineraries and a new ship, the Celestyal Nefeli. Yeymi’s record of success customer service combined with her diverse skill-set and in-depth knowledge of southern destinations make her an excellent addition to the team.”

Santana joins Celestyal Cruises with more than 18 years of travel industry experience. She previously worked with several prominent wholesalers, such as Transat, Tours Mont Royal and Intair Transit, in a variety of departmental roles, from reservations and group coordination to accounting and event management.
