ANTALYA — Nothing to see here, folks, just a woman drying her underwear on a plane using the overhead vent.

A female passenger was spotted on a recent Ural Airlines flight from Antalya, Turkey to Moscow using the overhead vent to dry her knickers. The 20-minute laundry session was caught on film by a fellow passenger, who later uploaded the video on YouTube.

In the minute-long video, she is clearly seen holding up a pair of briefs to the vent while passengers looked on in shock. According to witnesses, she spent 20 minutes drying her undies, all the while flying 35,000 feet above the ground. Talk about multi-tasking!

“Everybody was looking with interest and confusion, but everybody remained silent,” an anonymous eyewitness said, as reported in The Sun.

Many viewers left comments about the video, speculating as to what prompted the woman to air out her dirty laundry mid-flight. One viewer wrote: “Oh no hope the FAA will now not impose a ban on bringing underwear on a plane”, while another suggested the undies in question was actually a wet bathing suit following a resort stay, saying “…she found a wonderful way to not let it deteriorate, so she is very smart”.

Whether the woman can be considered smart or uncivilized, one thing’s for sure: you probably won’t encounter anything stranger on a plane.
