HONG KONG — Anyone have an extra ‘f’ to give? Cathay Pacific wants to know.
The Hong Kong-based airline has sent a new plane back to the paint shop after travellers at Hong Kong International Airport noticed a major spelling mistake on the side of the aircraft.
Where ‘Cathay Pacific’ should have been were the words ‘Cathay Paciic’.
Yikes! Clean up in aisle one!
According to Cathay, it was a genuine mistake and addressed the faux-pas on Twitter.
Oops this special livery won’t last long! She’s going back to the shop!

Of course, Twitter-verse wasted no time in poking fun at the airline.
