Examples of those airfares include: Vancouver-Sydney, $2,543 and Toronto-Auckland $3,182.

These Premium Economy Class airfares are on sale from Aug. 26 to Sept. 22 2014, inclusive, and available for flight departures from Aug. 26 to Nov. 30 2014 and Dec. 24 2014 to March 31 2015, inclusive.

Sample Economy Class fares are Montreal-Melbourne $1,901 and Calgary-Adelaide $1,722.

These Economy Class airfares are on sale from Aug. 26 to Sept. 22 2014, inclusive, and available for flight departures from Sept. 16 to Nov. 30 2014 and Dec. 24 2014 to March 31 2015, inclusive.

Above pricing includes taxes and surcharges; exact amount will be quoted once flights and dates are selected. Economy Class pricing requires a 21-day advance purchase. All flights operative via Hong Kong; one stopover in that city is permitted at no additional cost, additional stops charged at $110. Seats are limited and other rules and restrictions apply. Airfares are subject to government approval.

Cathay Pacific offers 10 flights weekly nonstop from Toronto to Hong Kong, 14 flights weekly nonstop from Vancouver to Hong Kong, and daily nonstop service from Vancouver to New York (JFK), plus dedicated all-cargo freighter service to Hong Kong from Vancouver and Toronto.
