TORONTO — Canada’s very first Canopy by Hilton Hotel is one step closer to opening.
The new Canopy by Hilton Toronto Yorkville Hotel, owned and managed by Easton’s Group of Hotels and located at 387 Bloor Street East, has completed its structural framework, a milestone that was celebrated with an official ceremony on July 21 at the hotel’s construction site. The 184-room hotel is scheduled to open its doors in November 2022.
“Today is a significant milestone for the construction of this property and a testament to the skill and diligence of all parties involved,” said Reetu Gupta, Chairwoman and Ambassadress of The Gupta Group and Easton’s Group of Hotels. “We’re excited to bring Canada’s very first Canopy by Hilton Hotel to Toronto. The hotel, with its premium location, will bring a unique blend of luxury, convenience and urban living, offering a new way for guests near and far to experience the city.”
Upon completion in the heart of Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood, Canopy by Hilton Toronto Yorkville Hotel will feature a modern café with retail offerings on the main floor, a restaurant featuring views of Bloor Street and the Rosedale Valley, an indoor heated pool, yoga and fitness rooms and meeting spaces. Guestrooms, which are called ‘Just-Right Rooms’ for their intuitive comfort, will be situated from the second to ninth floors, while the remainder of the 55-storey building will comprise Gupta Group Developments’ Rosedale on Bloor residential units.
More information about the new hotel, including details about local attractions and a street-facing café with a retail boutique, will be revealed leading up to its grand opening in November.
