TORONTO — The inaugural edition of the CanJet Vacations brochure is available this week and distribution to agencies will commence immediately, according to John Kirk, VP Sales, and Marketing.
“We are very excited to launch our brochure to the trade,” said Kirk. “We have only selected properties that are a true 4 or 5-star to ensure our guests have an upscale holiday experience. We think agents will be very impressed with the calibre of our hotel selection.”
The initial product lineup features hotels in Varadero, Havana, Santa Clara, Holguin, Santa Maria and Cayo Coco, Cuba; Puerto Plata, Punta Cana and La Romana in the Dominican Republic; Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit in Mexico; and Negril, Montego Bay and Ocho Rios in Jamaica.
All departures are from Toronto Pearson International Airport beginning Dec. 18, 2014.
Kirk said agents will not find prices in the brochure. “Pricing is so fluid today, brochure pricing has become irrelevant. Currently agents can easily go to Sirev.com and find real time pricing, or contact our call centre,” he said.
“Negotiations with leading GDS providers should be concluding in the coming days,” he added.
The brochure features very clean lines, with beautiful images and concise hotel information.
All packages feature flights from Toronto with CanJet Airlines Boeing 737-800 aircraft, serving complimentary champagne, hot meal service, bar service and inflight entertainment with complimentary headsets.
Agents can also upgrade their clients to CanJet Select and receive priority check in, complimentary seat selection, priority baggage handling and additional baggage allowance of up to 10kg per segment. CanJet Select guests also receive a Comfort Kit southbound and complimentary wine and alcoholic beverages during bar service.
CanJet Vacations launched this spring as Canada’s newest tour operator, under the experienced leadership of industry veteran Robbie Goldberg. The company is a sister company to well-known Canadian charter airline, CanJet Airlines.
