TORONTO — Palladium Hotel Group has appointed Bill Bowers to Director of Sales, Canada.

In his new role, effective immediately, Bowers will work on deepening Palladium Hotel Group’s relationships with Canadian travel agents and expanding the market.

The well-known travel industry veteran started his career at Suntours and Sunflight before becoming VP, Product at Carousel Holidays and then VP, Revenue Management at Sunquest Vacations.

In 2000 he switched from tour operators and contracting hotels to the hotel industry, joining Decameron All-Inclusive Hotels and Resorts, as Director of Sales – the Americas. In that role he grew Decameron’s market and revenue significantly.

Palladium Hotel Group recently opened properties in Mexico’s Costa Mujeres and Cap Cana, D.R. The company has also refreshed its destination wedding and romance packages, and added new features and experiences at several of its properties.
