CANCUN — Reservations are now open for stays at Margaritaville Island Reserve by Karisma Riviera Cancún, a “complete conversion” of the former Azul Beach Resort Riviera Maya by Karisma, says the company.

Billed as Margaritaville’s first inclusive resort experience, the beachfront property sits on the Riviera Maya coastline and offers a casual-luxe atmosphere in keeping with the Margaritaville brand.

Introductory rates start at US$200 per person plus $150 in resort credit, for stays booked by Dec 10, 2019 for travel April 18 – June 30, 2020. The deal represents a savings worth up to 60% off.

The resort is scheduled to open in March 2020.

There are 148 guestrooms and suites, four pools, four restaurants, six specialty bars, and an 8,000-square-foot St. Somewhere Spa, by Karisma.

Nine styles of guestrooms and suites reflect an upscale coastal design, and include oceanfront and swim-up options with direct access to the main swimming pools. All accommodations open to a balcony complete with Adirondack chairs or daybeds, overlooking the pools, gardens or Caribbean Sea. Modern conveniences include smart TVs and WiFi.

Every room will also have a complimentary customizable in-room bar experience, in what the company says is a first-of-its-kind offering exclusive to Margaritaville Island Reserve.
