TORONTO — The books have opened ahead of schedule on G Adventures’ 2022 Arctic and Norway departures aboard the 134-passenger G Expedition.
The 12 new departures, now available to consumers and agents to book, run from May to September 2022.
The company says it has seen an increase in demand from travellers looking to book a combined Norwegian and Arctic Expedition trip, and as a result has added the new Norwegian Fjords and Realm of the Polar Bear tour. The 22-day trip departs from Edinburgh and takes in the Norwegian Fjords before heading to the Arctic regions of Svalbard, Spitsbergen and Longyearbyen.
“The early release of our 2022 Arctic and Norway Expedition program means giving our travellers more flexibility to plan ahead when booking this once-in-a-lifetime journey,” says Sean Russo, National Sales Manager, G Adventures. “With prices remaining fixed from our 2021 program, the new trips offer those looking to rebook Expedition tours impacted by the pandemic, more choice in departure dates and cabin grades, while supporting the desire from travellers to be able to book new trips further in advance.”
The Expedition departures are covered by G Adventures’ Book with Confidence policy, offering clientsmore flexibility when it comes to rebooking in the event they need to delay their trip, adds Russo.
In addition to the new 22-day Norwegian Fjords and Realm of the Polar Bear trip, 2022 G Expedition departures include the 13-day Cruise the Norwegian Fjords from Tromso to Edinburgh (from $5,999 per person for departure on May 17, 2022); the 8-day Realm of the Polar Bear roundtrip from Longyearbyen (from $5,099 for departures on June 12 2022); and the 15-day Arctic Highlights from Longyearbyen to Reykjavik (from $9,199 departing Aug.19, 2022).
