TORONTO — Black Friday week winds down today with a final rush of deals from top suppliers.
Today’s deals include those from Sunwing, Transat and Hola Sun.
SUNWING
For Black Friday, Sunwing is offering some of the best deals in its history, with up to 50% off vacation packages. The ‘Orange Friday Sale’ is on now through Nov. 29 and features vacation packages for every travel style to such popular destinations as Cancun, Punta Cana and Varadero.
Packages start at $665 per person for a seven-night stay at popular beachfront resort Starfish Varadero in a Gardenview Room, departing from Toronto on Jan. 10, 2021. Also available is the adults-only Riu Republica in Punta Cana, which starts at $1,045 per person for a seven-night stay in a Hotel Room, also departing from Toronto on Jan. 10, 2021, as well as the adults-only Royalton CHIC Suites Cancun Resort and Spa in Cancun, starting at $1,095 per person for a seven-night stay in a Luxury Junior Suite, departing from Toronto on Jan. 9, 2021. All prices include taxes and are based on double occupancy.

Transat’s Black Friday sale runs from Nov. 27-29, giving Canadians the chance to travel this winter for a fraction of the price. For flights to the South, Florida, Europe and Canada, clients who book an Eco Standard fare will pay the lower Eco Budget rate, while still enjoying the perks of Eco Standard, which includes one checked baggage of 23 kg and seat selection. This represents a value of up to $220.
For South packages, substantial bargains are available, with packages starting at $699 per person.
Transat is reminding Canadians of its free medical insurance for COVID-19, as well as its flexible booking options that include policies like ‘Book with Peace of Mind’ and ‘Book Packages with Confidence.’
HOLA SUN HOLIDAYS
For Black Friday Week, Hola Sun has unveiled several package deals that allow clients to save more while in Cuba. An all-inclusive, seven-night stay at the four-star Grand Muthu Cayo Guillermo, for example, starts at $858 per person, departing Jan. 24, 2021, while the five-star Grand Sirenis Cayo Santa Maria is priced from $878 per person.
The four-plus-star Iberostar Selection Holguin, departing Jan. 21, 2021, starts from $1,128 for seven nights. Lastly, the four-star Playa Vista Azul in Varadero starts at $1,138 per person, for seven nights departing Jan. 16, 2021. All prices are based per person, with taxes and fees included.
The offer is valid on new bookings made from Nov. 26-30, 2020.
