BOLTON, ON — Travel agents now have a new tool to help them attract destination wedding groups.

Big Bark Graphics is launching a new Bridal Division and website that enables travel agents to offer all the print materials the bride and groom will require for their destination wedding, without having to do any work themselves, and agents earn 30% commission on any sales.

Brides go to the new website and customize their save-the-date notices, wedding invitations, travel document holders, souvenir baggage tags, thank you notes and flat book photo albums.

“We know that the proliferation of online travel agencies has pushed independents to go to a niche. Many have chosen wedding groups and destination weddings as they are a huge growth market, with over 750 weddings held in destination each day,” said Scott Barker, Big Bark Graphics president.

“Agents are busy and they don’t really need to be in the middle of helping the bride with all these necessary wedding details, so we’ve made it easy,” said Barker. “We said ‘why not let the brides do it’ and created a site just for brides, but referred by travel agents.”

Agents can sign on to become a dealer for I Do Wedding Print.   Big Bark has an introductory offer in place for $150 that includes a start-up kit and demonstration binder, for agents who sign up before Oct. 31, 2014. Agents then pay $100 annually.

Effective Nov. 1, 2014, the dealer cost is $250 for the first year and $100 annually.

There will be marketing and promotional materials for travel agents to exhibit at consumer shows, consumer nights and bridal shows, also banners and tablecloths at reduced rates.

Agents will receive their own business cards as a dealer for I Do Wedding Print with an agent ID code, which the bride must use to access the website.

Brides will be able to fully customize all of their items. “There is no limit to the variations we can offer, including weddings from different cultures, LGBT weddings and religious weddings. The site has several examples however we encourage the bride to use her own photography and ideas to choose exactly the right colour scheme, poetry, font, etc. that is special and unique for her.”

The site is the only bridal site that enables brides to also order and customize luggage tags for the group and travel document holders.

Barker says this is an opportunity for agents to offer an invaluable service to brides and at the same time secure the loyalty of that bride to book the wedding group’s travel.
