TORONTO — The Travel Agent Next Door has added 5 new team members in marketing, accounting and admin support, giving the host agency what it says is the best support staff to primary agent ratio in the industry.
“We know we have the best service levels in the industry,” said Flemming Friisdahl, Founder, The Travel Agent Next Door. “None of our competitors has a 12-to-1 ratio of support staff to primary agents.”
Friisdahl said that timely support in all areas is one of the cornerstones of the success of The Travel Agent Next Door. “Our agents tell us all the time that they really appreciate how quickly we address their questions and concerns,” he said.
The new team members are as follows:
- David MacKenzie – Administrative support
- Lori McPhee – Junior Accountant
- Celena Gracar – Junior Accountant
- Susanna Thibble – Junior Accountant
- Mackenzie Hobbs – Junior Marketing Coordinator
Friisdahl said that expanding the marketing team will assist agents with participating in all marketing campaigns and developments. The growing accounting team provides additional support for agents with any queries regarding commissions, he added.
